Poetry ~ Venus in Pisces

I had a dream last night about ” James”, which has not happened for quite some time. I told him about my blog and asked him to read it and how connected we are at WordPress. Yes I am plugging my blog through the dream portal! He told me he was in love. After some reflection it occurred to me that the dream may be heralding the Venus transit into Pisces. Since “James” and I share a Neptune/ Venus connection and he is such a Piscean/Neptunian spirit, it rings true to me.

So I decided to grace this blog with some more Random Poetry. I will get centered and randomly open to a page within Love Poems from God.  Let’s see what happens.

WITH THAT MOON LANGUAGE by Hafiz

Admit something:

Everyone you see, you say to them, ” Love me.”

Of course you do not do this out loud, otherwise

someone would call the cops

Still, though, think about this, this great pull in us to connect.

Why not become the one who lives with a

full moon in each eye that is

always saying,

with that sweet moon language,

what every other eye in

this world is

dying to

hear?

Wishing you a misty sweet Venus in Pisces where poetry reigns and hearts melt.

    1. Hi Aleya,
My fellow bloggers inspired me to dig back into the poetry and highlight this Venusian passage into Pisces.

It is awesome that the reading is creating positive ripple effects for you.

How did you make the heart ?

  2. Ooo pretty poem!
Did Hafiz’s poem actually have “cops” in it? Hehe…or did I misread this whole post and I should be directing the compliment at you? 🙂

I *do* love the description on having a full moon in each eye! 🙂

    1. Thanks Shree,
Cops are actually in there! Sometimes the word choices in these ancient poems really floor me, but it is up to the translator to make these calls 🙂

Never read this one before, random reading rocks!

  3. Hi Linda

To my book order, I’ve also added, Rumi: Bridge to the Soul: Journeys into the Music and Silence of the Heart by Coleman Barks.

I have a very good friend who is a very well regarded Poet. He is a Welshman and very proud of his heritage and traditional roots. Paul has quite an established body of work, and whilst most of this is in publication there are several pieces on his Blog worthy of a read. If I may would you mind me leaving his Blog address so that others may take a look and perhaps enjoy his work as I do? http://p47sj.wordpress.com/

One short poem has also been set to music. It is called Bombstar. There are times when I play it over and over. For me it somehow suggests at the totality of life in our contemporary age. https://soundcloud.com/paul-steffan-jones/bombstar

I hope you enjoy it 🙂

    Namaste

  4. HI Julie,

As a Sun sign enchanting the dark Cosmos with her radiant Light, I’m not surprised that Panthera Leo owns a copy of this book.

Linda suggested in her wonderful reply to me that she changed the background to a starry-scape because when the feeling takes her that’s the way she rolls. But between you and I Julie, I think she changed it because she knew the Celestial Wizard would be visiting imminently and wanted me to feel at home…which of course I did and still do 🙂

As you both consider the book such a treasure, I’ve just ordered a copy online. When it arrives (if it arrives!) I’ll fly over and give you my thoughts. I have a very good feeling that I’ll not be disappointed.

    Thank you for your recommendations.

    1. I loooved that film and the book as well. The author is from near where I went to high school and I ate in the diner where they shot that crucial scene between Bradley and Jennifer.

      Enjoy the romance 😉

  5. Hi Linda,

I’m not a Piscean, but this sweet poem must have caught me off-guard to have put a little mist in my eye 🙂 But then scintillating Venus always does no matter in which house she is residing…

Love Poem’s from God, is this by Daniel Ladinsky? If so I may invest in a copy. Thank you Linda.
