Eighteen months of blogging for litebeing chronicles as of tomorrow, 7-11-14. Where does the time go??

Just in time for another full moon to grace us with its presence ( Oh no squeals Mr. Bill ). Full moon in Capricorn this Saturday – Saturn’s day and Saturn’s moon. It lands in my 12th house, good times??

Which brings me to Cat Stevens…

Recently I viewed the latest concert for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. It was such a fabulous line up this year. Cat Stevens was one of the featured honorees and his tribute and performance moved me to tears. I was so surprised to see him and doubted that he would perform since he left public life to pursue the holy life. But perform he did and it was awesome. I hungered to hear two of his classics that were not performed on the show. One of them is Moonshadow.

Seems very fitting for the coming full moon and the blending of time/ classics ( Saturn) and warm memories ( Cancer and the moon ).

Here is also a shout out to my old friend Arlene who first introduced me to Cat Stevens. We would play his greatest hits record over and over and over again.

 

Those were good times!

      I never replied to your comment of 3 1/2 years ago,lol! Yes we both began blogging in January 2013, shortly after 12/21/12, the beginning of the “new cycle”. What a cycle it has been! Thanks for the well wishes.

  3. Wonderful 18 mths, and known you only a few… So pleased our moonbeams path crossed though Linda.. I loved Cat Stevens and how nice he came out of his seclusion for the concert Moon Shadow is a classic… I am hoping the Full Moon brought you the energy and what you need right now Linda.. 🙂

    I wasn’t sure how well I knew Cat Stevens; and when I clicked on your link, it didn’t work on my iphone. I’d didn’t think I’d have time to log on, but then, I caught this song in my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46QXrJml0UQ I remembered it’s from one of my all-time favorite movies, Harold and Maude! It’s movie I discovered in my early twenties and loved! Have a beautiful day!

      You are such a sweet spirit and wonderful creative light. The 18 months went so fast and it has been one of the best choices I have made in a very long time. I love that we dig kaleidoscopes. Please restore your images on your post so I can republish my reblog, please 🙂

      1. I realized that after I read Debra’s comment. I was so excited for you but still it sounds awesome. We don’t have HBO or I wouldn’t have missed the last 2 seasons of Game of Thrones. Anyways I share your love of the Cat Man. You were clear once I reread, I just got all excited for you. lol
