Everything old is new again and again..

It is often the simple things that lead to awakening. Just driving around my neighborhood yesterday I noticed a new store that just opened. The name of the store is Serendipity.

According to Wikipedia, Serendipity means a “fortunate happenstance” or “pleasant surprise”. It was coined by Horace Walpole in 1754. In a letter he wrote to a friend Walpole explained an unexpected discovery he had made by reference to a Persian fairy tale, The Three Princes of Serendip. The princes, he told his correspondent, were “always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things which they were not in quest of”.

I would disagree with this definition,  just ever so slightly. We are always in quest of something on the soul level. I was not looking for a new store yesterday, but it caught my attention because the word is one that I would recognize as a symbol. The soul and higher self is always alert and awake, gently guiding our physical being towards mastery.

So in honor of the Easter holy-day and the warm breeze streaming in on this sunny Eclipse Saturday, I am republishing this post Everything Old is New Again. I included a few more favorites to the mix that reveal everyday magic.  Have a simply awakening weekend!

Oh how I love this quote! As promised, I am ” resurrecting” some older posts for newer readers to enjoy and long time viewers to rediscover!

This first group of posts features synchronicity, exploration of alternate realities, and a sprinkling of magic.

    1. Hi O and OM.
I am in a lot of pain and not sure how I am doing. Still taking meds and seeing doctor for tests, etc. I could use plenty of serendipity and prayers.

      love and hugs,

Hope you are enjoying Spring on your side of the pond. I am doing the best that I can. Weather is lovely with forsythia in bloom. My body has other ideas and I am working on panicking less and trusting that I will fully recover.

      love and light,
      Linda
