Lately I’ve either been re-blogging or writing about blogging, but not actually doing much writing. I have plenty to say, but my ideas need more time to take shape. So when I happened upon Cee’s blog and the Share Your World feature ( thanks Leigh), I thought ” this will ease me back into the swing of things.” This weekly prompt is a way to share more of yourself, like an award post without the awards.
While it is a trifle off theme, I will answer the questions with playfulness, honesty and a twinkle of inspiration.
So here we go:
Are you a hugger or a non-hugger? It depends. If I know you well or get good vibes, yeah. If I really dig you, you will get an awesome hug, no matter my mood. If I don’t know you or am not close to you and I am in a pissy mood, stay away! I can be either very affectionate or cold as ice. Scorpio Sun ( intense) , Aquarius Rising ( detached) , moon in 4th house ( moody) – need I say more?
What are your favorite toppings on pizza?
There is nothing ethereal about this, but I adore pizza! I have blogged about it a few times like here and here. I have several favorite toppings: Hawaiian pizza (canadian bacon and pineapple), anchovy and black olive, sausage and mushroom, or white spinach pie ( spinach, ricotta and garlic).
Since I cannot stomach mozzarella cheese too well anymore, I rarely eat pizza, except for the occasional tomato pie or frozen soy cheese version. But more places are cropping up with non dairy cheese, so I am hopeful that my pizza days are far from over.
If you were the original designer of one existing corporate logo, which one would you select?
At first, I had no clue so I went to Google to look at some images.
I chose the Olympics logo because it contains colorful interlocking circles. The Olympics always make me smile. I love what they symbolize and this logo points to what we can be as a planetary society. This is my version of the new world order, where we live as peaceful citizens of the world who embrace unity and diversity with excitement and possibility.
Complete this sentence: Where I can seek my solace is…
Deep within myself or in the heart of nature. Of course when Dexter was around, he was my walking, talking teddy bear. Beloved old songs or a favorite book or film will also do the trick.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week: crescent rolls, laughing with my nieces, cold pumpkin pie for breakfast, waking up earlier each morning without an alarm.
This week: making more social plans, a job interview, wearing my new jasper earrings:
I treated myself to a birthday gift at the Windfall Gallery today. This is a special place with such positive energy. It has been around forever and I just discovered it about a year ago. An example of magic hiding in plain sight! I decided to be led to the right item. I set an intention to look for my animal totems. I saw Owl on one of the shelves, so I knew I would be guided well. I chose olive green and rust colored hanging earrings and was told they are made of Jasper. Jasper is quite old and is used for grounding. It is called the nurturing stone. This will be very helpful indeed. I am always grateful when life offers me pleasant surprises and validates my intentions. I did not know about Jasper, but it knew about me!
Thank you Cee for launching this platform. May your week be filled with laughter, nurturing, pizza and plenty of peace.
During the 1980’s, Mike Bryant created a Peace card. He hoped that by sending it to friends and relatives, they would sign it and re-post, and a chain of Peace would spread around the world. I have to admit that I never got around to sending on the card. I wish I had, but as Mother Earth heaves with sadness, and her people are drowning in sorrow and grief, I offer this Peace chain, to join with other Peace chains along the way. With today’s technology words travel further and faster. Taking up the sword is not the answer. Peace is the answer.

Here’s a treat for the non-astrologer. You may ask: What does Gemini moon even mean? How does it look, feel, operate? Here’s a gem from me and a couple of Gem moonbeams from last year that will give you a hint or two. Enjoy!
Welcome to the collaborative lunations of Gemini moon pals, Litebeing, Dreamrly, and yours truly, The Ptero Card. Yesterday marked the Gemini / Sagittarius full moon of 2014, and through our mutual love of art and writing we’re combining our efforts for a few reflections on our experience of lunar Gemini in our natal astrological charts. Each of our contributions was produced independently, without consultation other than assigning the art work to Dreamrly, poetry to Litebeing and intuitive writing to me. We present here the fruits of our work which we hope enhance your own lunations, where ever they may take you.
The basis of astrology, an ancient wisdom practiced by nearly all pre-scientific cultures, comes from the understanding that external cosmological events have a corresponding affect on our interiority, because human disposition is a microcosm of the macrocosm, or, as the ancients say, “as above, so below.” I suspect…

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holy-day. Maybe that’s because it arrives so close to my Midheaven, or perhaps it’s my mother’s incredible stuffing. Then again it could be the ability to include anyone you want at the table, without the pressure of gifts or material…
How can it be that Scorpio season is over? The sun entered Sagittarius today, soon to be reunited with Saturn. This month has been bittersweet for me. It has been back to back with many celebratory meals with friends and family. Some old and new friends have mixed with old and new family in honoring my birth and presence in their lives. Lunches and dinners and drinks and brunches all around my fair city have touched my heart and made me smile. They have also made me wonder how I got to be this age ( or this sage) and what have I been up to all these years.
This got me thinking about plans never coming to fruition but filed away. In this case, I am referring to blog posts. Some of these drafts are over a year old. No cake for these guys though as they have yet to be birthed into full fledged articles. They cannot potentially be Freshly Pressed if they fail to get to press.
While the year 2015 is still in motion, I know it will be over after a few more breaths, lattes, and games of Farmville 2. So I ask you, my treasured readers, for some feedback.
Let me know which of the following draft topics appeal to you. This will help me decide which will be completed before we ring in 2016.
Ready, here we go:
Taylor Swift and my serendipitous trip to NYC.
Mystical road trips ( 3 in all) to Longwood Gardens
Awards posts from 2015 given to me by Sue Dreamwalker and Aquileana.
Life’s purpose and career path
Synchronicity encounter with records room “Angel”
Astrology of David Letterman and reflections on his retirement
Reflections on Wayne Dyer’s passing
Which of these seem WP worthy?
There are also a few others that either don’t make sense or don’t feel right anymore. This is ok , because I do reserve the choice to change my mind. But those listed are still interesting to me and worth consideration. Many times my posts are written rather spontaneously, triggered by inner or outer inspiration. I like that I can relax control enough to go for it in the moment. Yet this is why so many posts are in draft purgatory. At least that is what I tell myself.
I will be waiting for your responses patiently, hoping you can help me decide which drafts will be incarnated and which will continue to take up space on the dashboard.
Have a great week ahead and don’t let the drafts get you down. Put on a sweater and brew some tea. Maybe add some honey or lemon. Whatever brings you peace and comfort. Take good care of you so that you can press on with the game of life.
Apparently we are in full swing holidaze season. It is not quite Thanksgiving yet and I am already on my second migraine. If you know what I am talking about, you may also be a HSP or INFJ. Read along for some tips on how to thrive during the upcoming festivities.
Happy 12-12 everyone! Could not let today pass without some new material, so…
I was ready to dive into an astrology article including Taylor Swift, but she will have to shake it off just a little bit longer. I am sensing a need to write about how to navigate the holiday season with fun and a lot less drama. I have wanted to write about INFJs and HSPs ( Highly Sensitive People) for a while, and this seems to be the perfect time.
Where is the INFJ in this picture?
He or she is probably in the basement or store bathroom with their hands over their ears! The INFJ personality is very sensitive, intuitive, headstrong, and idealistic. This archetype is also generally quite introverted, perfectionistic, and value-driven. I think the HSP personality is a derivative of the INF ( Introvert Intuitive Feeling) categories in the Myers Briggs system.
Neptune, the planet of magic, illusion, imagination and/or delusion, is stationing direct tomorrow. I witnessed some magic today because my 18-year-old car passed inspection without any repairs needed! To celebrate, I am helping my car register to vote. Only kidding, but how about changing what seemed like a faint fantasy into a reality? I did not believe what I was hearing, but then did a quick turnaround upon acknowledging that I deserve good news and will continue to attract more.
Arlene had sent me pictures from our visit at the Magic Gardens taken with her smart phone. My pictures were good, but these are awesome. Changing one’s perspective is where the magic happens. I guess I should get a job so I can buy a smart phone. What do you think?
Enjoy some magic:
This is a fabulous time to watch a romantic movie, sip some herbal tea, or meditate. Not a great time to elope, buy property, or make major investment deals. Take it easy and embrace the fog and mirrors.
In light of the recent events in Paris and other locales, I am reblogging this post on A Small World. Over a birthday dinner with my family, my mother began discussing our favorite Disney ride . Thinking about my dreams as a child while surrounded by my young nieces, I imagined a better future. One of unity, love, equality, and peace. Let’s create it together.
Before Mercury goes direct, I want to re-post an old piece I did on the 1964 World’s Fair. The theme was international connection and the role technology plays in our global village. On this past Sunday’s CBS Morning news program, the focus was on how many of our past ideas about the future did not pan out. They featured The Jetsons and the 1964 World’s Fair. It was a fascinating show and I want to share some of it with you. So please enjoy my Small World post ( with updated photos!) and some links to Sunday’s broadcast:
But first, have some retro future fun and check this out!
Today marks the birthday of Georgia O’ Keefe. She is another 11 -6/8 personality as her birthday was 11-15 and mine is 11-6. The 11/6 signature can be defined as mastery plus love transmutes into spiritual influence. What we also share is a love of art, nature, the Southwest, and freedom of expression. If you can get to Santa Fe to visit her museum, please do.
Until then, here’s a small sampling of her work :
Our planet is in dire need of healing. We may not agree on the methods.
One way I heal is by immersing myself in beauty.
Will you share what works for you?. I am interested in spreading the wealth.

Thank you Barbara for giving me the chance to learn more about your fabulous new book, My Magnificent Self : A Journey To Freedom. I know my readers will be delighted to learn about your quest.
Can you start off by giving us a brief summary of the plot?
I left home at the age of 17 with the burning questions… Who AM I and What is life about. I left my family home in England to travel Europe and explore answers. I eventually settled down in Holland where synchronicity brought me into contact with people who helped point me within and I began to perceive a whole new world, a Magnificent Consciousness that IAM and all life is a part of and discovered magical moments and my own answers.
What does freedom mean for you?
Freedom from being trapped in the Human game.
Why is it so precious?
I have always been a rebel and needed to be able to be and do things my way, outside the limitations and rules of society. It would have been so much easier if we were taught differently, but then again this might have affected the driving force behind my own exploration. Nevertheless, I remain passionate about sharing and inspiring our children about the Magnificent Consciousness each person is a part of and their place in it. Money raised from my books and Master Creator Class will go into my Spanish Non-Profit Association, The Magnificent Consciousness and will fund my creative art project that I take into local schools to help the children explore, question and discover their place in life.
What motivated you to write this book at this point in time?
Moving to my new home in Benalmadena early 2014 seemed to be the end of one amazing journey and the beginning of something completely new. I just knew it was time to write about it all; the past, present and future, and to share and inspire others to resonate with their own magnificence and Master Creator self.
Can you tell us how the opening futuristic vision came into being?
For a long time I have envisioned Humanity living on the Earth plane in peace and harmony and as my consciousness expanded, I began to understand how easily it is achieved. There is a fine line between what is real and fantasy and what I choose and allow becomes my reality.
Have any of these potential timelines materialized for you?
Yes, time is coming together now and allows us to experience whatever we choose in each moment.
The illustrations are stunning and really compliment the text. How did the vibrant color palette emerge for your Soul Art?
I have always loved vibrant rich colours and continue to play a big part of my life. My Elemental friends portray this as part of their vibrant potential and since publishing my book I can now allow myself to stand out and shine my colours.
Were the elementals literal, metaphorical or some combination of both?
All physical life is originally created from an idea, imagination or fantasy, having beginnings in the non-physical world. My elementals and my New Earth exist for the most part in the non-physical world but when I choose I sense them here too.
Did you engage with them using your third eye or some other way?
My 6th multi-sensual knowing allows me to sense at different times all the senses… to feel, to see, to hear, to taste, to smell. It is important for me to allow my whole body consciousness, body, mind and spirit to work together and sense all life.
I was inspired by your bravery to leave home for a foreign country at such a young age. What led you to take that leap of faith?
I believe when we are young we are brave, we don’t fear life and nothing would have stopped my incredible urge to move, to explore and discover myself and life. My real leap of faith came much later as an adult, leaving behind my comforts and fear of the unknown… which I write about with Axiel and Max.
From what I’ve gleaned about your lifestyle from your book, it appears that you have plenty of freedom, adventure, and creative pursuits. Often there is more happening behind the scenes. What was missing that prompted you to dig deeper?
In the beginning I didn’t feel anything was missing, only answers to my questions because I felt there was more… What I eventually discovered was my lack of self love and how self love is so important to unlock the door to the magnificent consciousness where everything… All That Is, is found.
One of the major themes is love of self and moving from one’s head to one’s heart. What would you say to those who may not understand why making this shift can be so life- altering?
Self Love is what opens up the potential of the magnificent and interconnected world of consciousness that can only be perceived from a quiet and peaceful state of being.
You incorporate scientific principles into your work, which adds another layer to the mystical content. What made you decide to include Bruce Lipton’s material?
I have always been fascinated with science, the universe, quantum physics and have read many books but I resonated with Bruce as he explained in a simple manner his findings of cell research when cloning Dolly. His story confirmed to me what I knew and literally blew my mind away.
One of my favorite chapters is the one about Ormus. I was fascinated by the synchronicity that led you to discovering his place in nature. Can you share how this knowledge has added to your awareness of the magic of the natural world?
Similar to Bruce, I knew a lot about the new energy consciousness from various sources, so when Ormus came along and confirmed it all, my consciousness leaped beyond everything I had known and allowed me to tap into deeper truths of the magic of the unknown, the natural world and The Magnificent Consciousness we are all part of. At this point of my journey, there was no going back and everything truly began to make sense. A wonderful moment in my life.
It was a pleasure discovering more about you and your excellent adventure in this incredibly ethereal yet practical book.
What is the major takeaway lesson from your experiences documented here?
That life is simply about making choices, being clear of your ‘heart and soul’ desire and allowing it all to unfold as the unique expression of you.
What parting words do you have for those who may be skeptical about a new Earth in their lifetime?
Life is not about what others think and say, it’s about how we each feel and how we want to live our life in each moment. As a child we can all remember moments of play, fantasy and imagination that we can reconnect with and allow ourselves to feel the magic and bring it back into our life. It is time for many more Humans to remember we are the true creators of life.
Thank you Barbara for spending some time here with us at litebeing chronicles. I wish you magnificent success with Your Magnificent Self : A Journey to Freedom.
