So here we are in the midst of astrological transformation and litebeing chronicles is having her solar return. Happy 1-11-2020 everyone! This adds up to 7 , by the way. Coincidence – I don’t think so.

My blog is seven years old, the age where children begin Piaget’s concrete operational stage and begin to learn how to organize thoughts cohesively. So let’s just say that this bodes well for my writing process!

In honor of the blogiversary I changed the tagline to let’s walk together on the path of awakening. This idea was partially inspired by a famous Ram Dass quote:

We’re all just walking each other home.

I really like his quote and believe it is a large part of the premise of interpersonal relationships. Bonding with others helps us survive and thrive through the incarnation journey.  Blogging is relational and I aspire to write in a way that is genuine, engaging, and relatable.

Recently I was led back to my first blog  and I noticed many interesting details I may have initially overlooked. I was amazed to discover that a few of my original likers are people who found me first and are still in my life.

Sindy, Cindy, and Deb, how cool is that? I feel incredibly blessed to have made so many strong, meaningful connections with like-minded fellow writers and doubly blessed when these connections endure. I really had no idea what I was doing, but the words and ideas kept flowing…. and here we are now. I went to a training yesterday and the instructor said that we can only know ourselves through others, that self-understanding is relational. I sense this idea is both simple and profound and timely in the wake of where we currently stand in our global community.

These past seven years have been quite challenging for me with many unexpected curveballs. Yet, finding this platform and making a commitment to write about my journey was one of the best gifts I have ever given myself. I have said this here repeatedly, but I will do so yet again: the act of writing opened up an aspect of my being that had been dormant for many many years. Some risks are worth taking and this was certainly one of them for me. Please join me in celebrating my baby’s 7th birthday by letting me know one thing that you have enjoyed about my blog. It would mean a lot for me to know how litebeing chronicles has impacted you.

much love to you all

  1. Happy Blogversary!!! I’m not certain, exactly when, me and thee started ‘walking’ here, together – but I do believe my chart from you is nearly 6 years old – – and, I’ve never forgotten the overall insights you provided during our discussion – in my darkest musings, they come forth to remind me to take heart – and move forward – – thank you and again, Happy Blogaversary!

  3. Happy Blogiversary, Linda! Our blogs are the same age. It has been nice playing with you. Is this time to get more serious with our first Saturn square? Thank you for encouraging me all this time – I think you were the first one who found me.

    1. Hi Monika,
I do recall finding you early on and remember a blog you did about Cloud Atlas, I think my writing is serious enough as it is, but I understand your question. 🙂
The first year of blogging was truly magical for me and meeting you and playing together was a large part of the magic.

      1. Oh, I do think your writing is serious. I was just trying to make a vague astrological joke about the first Saturn square. I’m glad both our blogs are past the infamous seven year itch😊

  4. Happy Blogversary, Linda! It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years. It’s been fun getting to know you, and most recently reconnecting through astrology. I always appreciate your positivity even during very difficult times. Here’s to a new decade of life and blogging!
