Sense-sational Blogging Challenge

Thanks to all for making this marvelous Blogging Challenge such a success. I always enjoy meeting new folks and cementing bonds with “old-timers” through this endeavor. We are expanding into December for those who are still interested in participating. My post is still in draft form so we shall see if we can extend the party a bit longer.

love to all, litebeing

UPDATE: The challenge is over and I am thrilled with the assortment of material assembled during the month of November. Many thanks to the contributers, supporters, and most of all, the readers! I plan to offer my challenge post in the near future, so stay tuned!  If you have not had a chance to read the submissions, the links are located here.

I wish everyone a fantabulous Supermoon Full Moon in Gemini, compounded by the Neptune square and Mercury conjunct Saturn stationing retrograde. So what does that all mean? My quick take is to beware of deception, huge promises, and missteps, value yourself through work and inherent resilience, and be the miracle you want to see in the world through all means of self-expression.

So how are you enjoying the challenge so far? In case you are not caught up on your reading, check out the schedule on the pinned…

That’s all folks! See ya soon…..

PS: Can someone volunteer to create a challenge badge for me? Contact me if you are interested.

Got the 1111?

UPDATE: I gifted a free tarot reading to my 1111th follower Tatjana, who blogs at https://amorisetsomniorum.wordpress.com/ Congratulations! I look forward to providing you with a reading soon.

Hey litebeings!

It is a gorgeous fall day here in Philly and I have 2 job interviews lined up for next week. I am so grateful to have received positive responses to my resume and am hopeful I will attract the employment setting that is for the highest good. I am also grateful my phone camera is now uploading so I can use my own images for this site. But that is not why I am posting today.

I am posting because I have , drum roll please, 1111 followers! Keep in mind that the number fluctuates according to social media and other factors, but the bottom line is that the number 1111 is radiating on the home page, doing its mystical thing.

I have a special gift in store for a lucky follower, so stay tuned! I realize that my stats will change so I want to capture this moment in time.

Thanks to everyone who reads my offerings, partakes of my services, and leaves comments on my blog. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful litebeings in my orbit.

love, litebeing

Half- Birthday Greetings!

Howdy litebeings and welcome to all my new followers! Today is my half-birthday and that makes me 56 1/2 years old in Earth time. More like 17 inside and 90 outside ( and sometimes the reverse is true). In my case, the sun also squares my Ascendant! It makes life a bit intense at times.  Anyway, I have been somewhat absent from WP and want to say hello and update you a little on the past few weeks.

I am still waiting for my car to be returned to me and I am glad that it will be finished after Mercury and Venus stationed direct. I have Venus ruling my 3rd house and this episode seems to be linked with Venus and Mercury moving backwards through my 2nd house of possessions. Uranus is still transiting my 2nd house also and this may have triggered the accident.

Internally I have been feeling alternately fearful, overwhelmed, and hopeful. Sometimes these emotions appear together. I have been getting interesting guidance lately. Most of the time it appears subtly, but this week the messages were very obvious. I have plenty to ponder.

Future posts:

1 Dreams and synchronicity

2  Book review on the Quaker Spiritual Path

3  Film review on synchronicity

4 Emerging intuitive process

While I strive to be organized and efficient ( Virgo north node), I allow myself to veer off when necessary. I will be back soon to finish responding to all your wonderful comments.

Like My New Tagline?

photo1309

As is so often the case, ideas flash into my head. Today while processing the death of Carrie Fisher and noticing she is forever ensconced on my sidebar ( as part of my random post oracle), the word snapshot buzzed in my ear. Then it occurred to me to use this on the blog. A few seconds later incarnation appeared. So there you have it, snapshots of an incarnation (that would be mine).

I did not think about this or mull it over ; I just discarded the old and added the new. While my former tagline Stories Beyond the Veil reflects my blogging journey, this new tagline is more inclusive and describes the pointillistic approach to litebeing chronicles. All the small snapshots move together to construct a tapestry of malleable space and time. Yes, this is a bit woo -woo, but if you look at the depth and breadth of material posted here, it will start to make sense. The whole is so much more than the sum of its parts.

So let me know what you think. Do you like this new tagline? What does it mean to you?

As a tribute to Carrie Fisher, give the random post oracle a spin. You never know what might turn up!

Magnificent Winners

photo1363

I hope everyone has been enjoying my recent photos of Christmas at Longwood Gardens. It is such a magical place, full of enchantment and mystery, particularly during this time of year.

As the days grow colder in the U.S. and virtually all the trees have shed their leaves, I am reminded that Winter is here ( officially on 12-21-16). As we move closer to the end of 2016, I grieve for all the sorrow and pray for redemption and another shot at peace.

I am in a very reflective mood and hope to organize my musings later on this weekend. In the meantime, I have an announcement to make.

HERE ARE THE WINNERS OF LITEBEING’S MAGNIFICENT CHALLENGE CONTEST:

  1.  C of judahfirst.wordpress.com
  2.  Michael of embracingforever.com

Initially there was to only be one winner, but I decided to award free astrology readings to both of them. Michael is someone I have come to know and appreciate over the years and C is a new connection who is kind and full of heart. Both are wonderful souls who shared their magnificence and indicated an interest in a reading. I am fortunate to consider them my friends.

Congratulations to C and Michael!

I feel blessed to have been gifted with the ability to interpret charts and share my insights with others. Astrology is a complex and intricate language the unlocks the essence of our soul’s promise.

If you want to give a loved one a unique holiday gift, contact me here to order one of my services.

Thanks to all the challenge participants and all readers of litebeing chronicles. It is hard to fathom it is coming up on my four-year blogiversary. The community that has gathered around me is miraculous and keeps growing and blossoming.

Thanks again.

Blood Sausage ~ Mars in Scorpio Direct

Hello litebeings!

Life has been hectic and crazed for me. I know that I am not alone in this; we all swim in the same cosmic soup after-all.

First, a few updates. Excuse my delay in sharing my news, it takes me a minute to process information.  I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy on May 19th. I am happy to report I do not have colon cancer. To say I am relieved would be a gross understatement. Diverticulosis ( pockets in the colon) were found. They are a precursor to diverticulitis. You cannot have one without the other. They also removed a few polyps. No biggie there. Some more polyps and assorted growths were biopsied in the stomach and esophagus area. I may need more tests for this, but it is unclear. This is partially why I hesitated reporting the findings. However, the pathology reports discovered no malignancies, so basically the tests discovered nothing serious ( as far as I know.)

I promise to write a conclusion to my Colonodyssey series when the time is right. Thanks for all your support and patience. My health has improved significantly, in spite of no resolution as a consequence of these invasive procedures. I think my improvement is somewhat linked to having survived the tests and knowing my colon is in relatively good shape.

I also began working full-time about 5 weeks ago as a therapist in a community mental health center. I started the job just days after the enduring these procedures and the aftermath. I was ( and still am) reluctant to disclose this news given my recent experiences with community mental health employment. However, I do not like withholding important developments from my readers, so here we go. I also wanted to provide an explanation as to why I have not been around as much. I will read, comment, and post as often as I am able. It is interesting to note that my symptoms subsided, even in the midst of adjusting to a new position and routine.  I need more time to reflect on this..

Now let’s pivot to the topic of blood sausage, shall we? This image quickly came to me as I considered this recent transit of Mars. Mars can signify blood and Scorpio/Pluto often implies sausage and other phallic objects. So marry both energies and voilá, blood sausage.

Here’s the thing about blood sausage or blood pudding. It is a Puerto Rican delicacy I first discovered about fifteen years ago while dining with social service program staff in the Hispanic section of Philadelphia. Working as a Program Analyst gave me a great opportunity to explore the varied programs throughout the city and explore the local treasures within their neighborhoods. I was afraid to try it because I am squeamish about blood in general. It was so delicious.  I am  really glad I was able to get past my concerns and go for it.

I really appreciate using blood sausage as a metaphor for the times we find ourselves in. Blood sausage is made with actual blood and various parts of the pig. It is a conglomeration of life, mixed with spices and love. The end product is rich with experience and passion. It screams of survival and mastery. There is plenty of alchemy involved as the life juice is intertwined with the flesh and guts. It may sound disgusting and vile, but it is indicative of consciousness in the physical.

I have observed lots of rage and violence the past few weeks on the commute to work, my office, social media, and  television. Some of this energy has been inwardly directed and some of it has been projected onto the planetary stage. Some examples of this phenomenon are Brexit, the US presidential theatrics, terrorist attacks, etc. The heat is on figuratively and literally, depending on which hemisphere you call home. I had hoped some of the road rage and carnage would cease once Mars began its forward motion, but no such luck. Maybe more time is needed for course correction to become evident. Mars in Scorpio is so much more that a strong sex drive. It is about the act of creation, passion, precision, and politics. It is bold, strategic and emotional. It can also play out as transcendent, euphoric, or duplicitous. There are plenty of choices with this placement.

Do not fear the blood sausage if possible. All the fire is inside of us. The flame must not be extinguished for it is the flame of endurance. Taste the humanity in every bite and savor the complexity of existence on this planet at this time.

It’s Rather Drafty Here Lately

wikipedia.org pub domain

How can it be that Scorpio season is over? The sun entered Sagittarius today, soon to be reunited with Saturn. This month has been bittersweet for me. It has been back to back with many celebratory meals with friends and family. Some old and new friends have mixed with old and new family in honoring my birth and presence in their lives. Lunches and dinners and drinks and brunches all around my fair city have touched my heart and made me smile. They have also made me wonder how I got to be this age ( or this sage) and what have I been up to all these years.

This got me thinking about plans never coming to fruition but filed away. In this case, I am referring to blog posts. Some of these drafts are over a year old. No cake for these guys  though as they have yet to be birthed into full fledged articles. They cannot potentially be Freshly Pressed if they fail to get to press.

While the year 2015 is still in motion, I know it will be over after a few more breaths, lattes, and games of Farmville 2. So I ask you, my treasured readers, for some feedback.

Let me know which of the following draft topics appeal to you. This will help me decide which will be completed before we ring in 2016.

Ready, here we go:

Taylor Swift and my serendipitous trip to NYC.

Mystical road trips ( 3 in all) to Longwood Gardens

Awards posts from 2015 given to me by Sue Dreamwalker and Aquileana.

Life’s purpose and career path

Synchronicity encounter with records room “Angel”

Astrology of David Letterman and reflections on his retirement

Reflections on Wayne Dyer’s passing

Which of these seem WP worthy?

There are also a few others that either don’t make sense or don’t feel right anymore. This is ok , because I do reserve the choice to change my mind. But those listed are still interesting to me and worth consideration. Many times my posts are written rather spontaneously, triggered by inner or outer inspiration. I like that I can relax control enough to go for it in the moment. Yet this is why so many posts are in draft purgatory. At least that is what I tell myself.

Koenig's_steam_press_-_1814

I will be waiting for your responses patiently, hoping you can help me decide which drafts will be incarnated and which will continue to take up space on the dashboard.

Have a great week ahead and don’t let the drafts get you down. Put on a sweater and brew some tea. Maybe add some honey or lemon. Whatever brings you peace and comfort. Take good care of you so that you can press on with the game of life.

Power Up The Energetic Web

wikipedia.org, pub domain

How has your weekend been? After quite a hectic and somewhat unsettling week, I woke up today with a lingering state of peace. So so grateful…

I have some announcements to share:

Some of you may remember I posted about an online summit on spiritual awakening and spiritual emergency. It was sponsored by Shades of Awakening. It was absolutely delightful hearing from speakers around the globe about how altered states of consciousness often involved experiences that Western society typically labels as psychotic or pathological. Well, through a string of unforseen circumstances I was made aware of an online course given by Emma Bragdon, one of the summit speakers. I am taking the class, which is called How to Effectively Help Someone in Spiritual Emergency, and it begins this Wednesday October 21st. If you are interested in the overlap between shamanic initiation and “mental illness”, this course may be for you. It is part 1 of a 2 part series leading up to a certification to become a Spiritual Emergence Coach. There are still spaces available and I would be delighted to learn alongside of you!

Visit here to learn more.

My pal Barbara over at Memymagnificentself is launching her book and looking for book reviews and interviews on various platforms. I will be interviewing her here and would love some company. Let’s support her in her quest to promote her book and its mission of freedom, unity consciousness and Divine expression.

Check out Barbara’s latest post to join the fun.

Last but not least, the Time Machine Blogging Challenge continues. The response to this series has been excellent. Let’s keep adding more momentum by filling the remaining dates on the roster. I added dates for the end of this month per the requests of some bloggers who needed more time. Time isn’t running out in 5D or above, but here on momma Earth, time is limited and we have 4 more spaces available. They are October  21, 22,  23, and 24. It would be an added bonus to get a representative from Africa and South America. All the other continents are covered save Antarctica!

To learn more about the challenge and read all the fascinating time tales, click here.

I really like the visual notion of our cosmos as an energetic web. It captures the premise of quantum thought and sacred geometry. I fancy the notion that every breath is a chance to light up our collective frequencies and celebrate our interconnectivity. By participating in any or all of the activities I mentioned above, you can make a difference beyond your wildest dreams.

Yikes! What if they gave a final Pluto Uranus square and nobody posted?

Hello Litebeings,

Tomorrow is the big hurrah and I haven’t posted. I hope to blog soon on how I am faring spiritually and my thoughts on the brewing astrological weather. If I don’t do so today, don’t fret. I would read this  gem in the meantime. The author of the link goes by the name Michael Lutin. I call him brilliant, visionary and frighteningly accurate per usual.

I will be back posting once I gather my parts up off the floor and reassemble my self.
