Yesterday we had a snowstorm and it was lovely. This year I am welcoming any indication that we are in fact moving through time. Living in a place that has seasonal changes gives me hope for the future. Major planetary shifts are another reason for hope of a brighter time ahead. Saturn changing signs from Capricorn to Aquarius occurred early this morning EST and waking up to a winter wonderland heralds a shift in perspective. While traditional astrologers attribute both Capricorn and Aquarius’s rulership to Saturn , Aquarius and Capricorn could not be more different. We move from earth to air, female to male, cardinal to fixed, duty to freedom, climbing to flight, isolation to socialization, conformity to rebellion, and so on…

We could look to 1991 to get a feel for what Saturn’s stay in Aquarius might resemble but my hunch is that this is a completely new gameplan. Today’s transit is the very beginning of the end of the Big Three in Capricorn cycle that began with the Saturn Pluto conjunction of January 2020. Saturn is the first to separate further from Pluto and forge new ground. While Saturn prefers Capricorn energies, Jupiter is more at home in Aquarius and the 2 will be conjunct at the Solstice ( 4 days from now!) While I am merely speculating , I am sensing that this could be the beginning of the collective coming to the foreground in government and other systems. Maybe more technology that provides security from cyber attacks. Social programs and funding for the “common people ” and a shift to cooperation and fairness in income distribution , along with power rising from the grassroots. Also innovations in architecture, revamping of archaic monetary and banking systems , and eradication of draconian regimes. Maybe the start of the Aquarian Age?
Well I can dream , can’t I?
Most readers know that anytime we land in Aquarius, I sense a rebirth coming. While I do not relish the eventual return of Saturn to my ascendant, I do welcome the influx of fresh air energy. I found your blog through Embracing Forever. I am not well versed in astrology other than the very basics that many lay people understand, but I respect the energy and science that are reflected by experts such as yourself.
For me, I find myself guided by a deep practice of internal martial arts and meditation, and ancient wisdom teachings such as the Tao Te Ching. I wonder if we find the same wisdom resonating via different vibrational patterns. Each one enhances and expands our understanding as we are exposed to different perspectives with an open and curious mind. I know my astrological friends, like Lynn Bell, have offered penetrating wisdom and guidance along the way.

Sometimes we need to just follow our flow, and circumstances it seems have contrived to keep me off the internet when I wanted to get back on… So I took that too as a sign to rest longer..

I am happy to hear from you. As you know, I feel the same as you about our bond, very blessed! When you have the time and interest, there are several challenge posts underneath this one. I pinned this one to the top of the front page. I missed you in the challenge but I know you are not in the space for this right now. We all have our individual cycles to navigate and this has been such a harsh year. I have been feelin g==quite upset since the president rejected monetary relief for people like me who have suffered financially due to COVID. This man is evil and unhinged and is toying with the lives of many, some who now have descended into poverty, hunger and homelessness. My benefits end next week if he doesn’t sign the bill. I was feeling lighter until this development. I pray all will be well. People who do not live in the US have no idea what the past 4 years have been like.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas and New Year and hope you are in touch ( in some fashion) with your lovely granddaughter!
