“But NOTHING happened!” Why Big Transits Can Sometimes be a Bust

This is a meaningful and informative discussion of an under-reported issue in Astrology. Thank you Donna for addressing this question with expertise and flair. Please scroll down to the comment section as well to get first hand examples of how major transits manifest internally.

Sky Writer

© 3-28-2015 by Donna Cunningham, MSW

A longtime Skywriter reader wrote to ask a question that had been bothering her for quite a while. She said that despite predictions of big changes in her life, major transits had often produced little or no effect in the way of happenings. I understood what she was saying about big transits and nothing happening. I have observed such things with myself  and others, too–clients and friends or loved ones.

When I examined their lives more closely, it became clearer that the long outer planet transit correlated with internal changes that moved them. Eventually and only gradually, under internal and/or external pressure, did they take action to change their approach to life and to significant others. It’s often something like a realization that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

  1. Thank you for sharing Linda… 🙂 I have to confess of not knowing what is happens so much with the stars as to the feelings I get… I rely upon your good self and others like you to point out its because of the planets etc… and then I say Oh that is why! lol.. .. 🙂

You are welcome Sue. I appreciate that you read the astrology posts are extract meaning from them, even with all the “astrospeak”. As intuitive as you are, I am not surprised that you are honing in on the energies regularly anyway. 🙂

This is very interesting. For me, it is a good opportunity to know what energy is coming up, so I can either use the energy that I know is there( for whatever growth or experience I know needs to happen) or lay low. I often don’t realize until after the fact that something indeed did shift. So, I usually just trust that whatever is meant to be shifting inside or out just IS, whether I notice a big change or not.

glad you enjoyed the article. Are you an astrologer or astrology student? For many of us, the major transits to our chart are the ones that activate major life events. But there are instances when this is not the case. I personally have experienced both scenarios. What I continually notice is that the energies are always interacting with our own state of consciousness. I think that factor also determines how the transits manifest. Thanks for sharing your experiences here.
