Just a reminder to check out the tag # Nanopoblanos2022 to see all the glorious November posts led by the supermagickal Ra. Why am I choosing so many reblogs from 2013? Perhaps it was a fabulous vintage? I am not sure but I know that I was super energized and in a creative flow. I selected this gem via the random blog oracle. It is a post that could be considered the prototype; representative of my creative process: a hodgepodge of technique, topic, and media. In this reblog the topic is one’s name, mixed in with the topics of etymology and genealogy. I incorporated the daily prompt as a technique, incorporating photography and a music video as media. While most of this process is organic, I tend to vary styles and techniques and weave in audio and/or visual media as a support. Other times the medium is the message ( I learned this quote in college, originated by Marshall McLuhan. )
