Ever since Ascension has become a hot topic in metaphysical/spiritual circles, I have wondered if some or all of my odd physiological ailments were due to upgrades or plain 3D aging. I still do not have any clear answers, but figured the current Sun square Neptune aspect was a great time to explore this latest mystery.
Back in March, I had just begun a new job which included working nights. My night vision is not so hot and my eyes tire after spending long hours in front of a computer screen. About 20 minutes after arriving home one night, I tune into a favorite TV series. It is hard to follow the storyline because there is a disco ball flashing inside my head. At least that is what it looks like to me. For close to half an hour I see gold lights quickly flashing within my field of vision, in both eyes. I was really scared, but hoping for the best outcome. After freaking a few years back after the floaters arrived, I decided not to panic. I told myself that if this incident was a ” one and done”, there would be no need to take action. The floaters, ( dark shadowy figures that enter from the corner of the eye) turned out to be nothing, according to my ophthalmologist. So this weirdness dissipated, never to return. But when a Facebook friend posted about eye flashes and retinal surgery, I went into panic mode. I saw the new doctor ( as mine had retired) who minimized the whole affair and concluded my retinas were fine before she examined them. She diagnosed me with ocular migraines and claimed I have a history of them. ( No I did not, I had old- fashioned migraine headaches; I would have remembered an in-house disco show.) Ocular migraines are “brain farts” that show up in the field of vision, related to auras that some people experience before experiencing a migraine episode. I have not seen auras yet, neither the migraine kind or the energy – field observed above one’s crown chakra variety.
A few weeks after the ophthalmologist visit, I saw a light green light on someone’s jacket at work. I surmised it was a reflection from something outside the window. When I noticed the same colored light the next morning in the bathroom, I panicked. ” Why am I seeing colors that are not there? ” I do not use magic mushrooms or take acid or other hallucinogens. I am not sleep deprived nor am I losing my mind. I was worried I might be losing my eyesight though. So I called the ophthalmologist office and told the assistant about my symptoms. She called back after consulting with the doctor and assured me this is an ocular migraine. I did not recall being told during my checkup that seeing colors was another possible sign of an ocular migraine. Did you know that this type of migraine is not related to the eyes but to the visual cortex part of the brain?
Apparently, this phenomenon is rare, which makes sense to me. I tend to develop odd or rare health issues ( Aquarius rising with an angular Uranus and strong Saturn in Capricorn). But it does beg the question, why now? Are there more visual hallucinations in my future? Per usual, I was told no one really knows about their origins or how to prevent them, except to avoid stress. Okay, no more stress for me then!
I wish I could tell if there is a mystical component here, maybe a 5D upgrade perhaps? Or is it simply another manifestation of an aging body and a stressful life? Or is it both? Or neither? I wish I had a clue. I really do.

Some may find it exciting, but my hold on reality does not need this type of excitement. I was never a fan of disco and grew up during the Disco Sucks movement. Maybe I feel this way because of some of the songs played on a continuous loop during my formative years.

A great read dear Linda and late I know in my arrival, but I was very interested in reading your account of your eye vision experiences..
Many years ago in my Twenties I started acute Migraine attacks which would often start with the ‘disco’ lights.. I would describe them like looking into the filament of an old light bulb, so when you blinked you saw a zig-zag circle.. This circle would stay in your vision and grow, expanding outwards until it filled your vision with light flashes of Zigzag lines.. After about 15 minutes the lights would go then the acute pain would start.. Which could last for hours and your head next day would still feel like a bad hangover. ( having experienced several hang-overs in my youth lol ) hehe..
I would get these Migraine attacks regular right up until my mid forties then they vanished.. I think maybe I had by then let go of lots of stress and had done much work upon myself.
But last year I started again with the zig zag lines and I too went back to the optician as I was worried about retina detachment, Like you I have a few major floaters but was told nothing to worry about. But to come back if I had any unusual symptoms.
These now last for ten minutes or so then go, and not head pain or Migraine after them..
I also have noted while in the shower, I put this down to soap in the eye a vivid Green circle like the shape of the Iris of your eye appearing.. But put this down to maybe I got soap in the eye..
But I haven’t seen Green appear on others or in the room..
I have no doubts that our bodies are going through changes and our perceptions of our reality too are changing..
What I do see quite often are sparks of Light, like pin pricks that flash from the corner of your eye, the minute your attention goes to them they vanish..
And I pondered upon were we seeing another aspect of reality?? Who knows..
This journey is one that is full of discovery..

The disco lights you described so well truly match what happened to me a couple of months back. The green spot you saw in the shower was unlikely to be soap as I have never seen anything odd when I have gotten soap or shampoo in my eyes ( not fun at all!)
My migraines were never paired with visions until recently when some pain occurred after seeing green. Yet, that could have been fear induced? It was fun choosing the images. Wish I could have found some that closely matched my ocular visions.
While I do not really attribute these visions to evolution, more likely stress, I do not have all the puzzle pieces at my disposal. To be continued??

Hi Linda, this is Cindy’s daughter, Rachel (using her account–she wanted me to read this post!), I have been having very serious experiences with seeing colors, mostly with my eyes closed, but more recently with them open. A lot of times it has to do with the sky and seeing very strange things in the sky–sometimes it’s millions of white specks darting about like tiny cells, and other times it’s a black swirling “clouds”–once the sky turned magenta! I DEFINITELY think it’s metaphysical, because the one time I saw the most vividly was when my best friend was visiting and connecting with her spirit guides. I felt a lot of energy coming from my friend and started seeing all these crazy colors and having strange sensations!
Whenever I tell my husband about the colors and shapes I see when I close my eyes, he says, “There’s something wrong with your eyes–you need to see the eye doctor,” and I just laugh. There is nothing wrong with my eyes–it’s just that my third eye/pineal gland is finally waking up.

Hey, Linda, as soon as I read this, I asked Rachel to read and comment. I definitely think this is related to ascension. It would be really interesting to know if the incidents that both you and Rachel experienced happened at the same time! Maybe an upgrade for a select few (although I have not seen lights, I am starting to discern faint auras, and the other night I could see all of Rachel’s spirit guides while she was getting a reading from a friend! That was a FIRST!!)

Thanks for commenting. These events happened in March and April or May ( the colors). For Rachel, I am inclined to agree that your experiences may, in fact, be a third eye mystical opening, or something in the area. You are much younger than I in physical age and I doubt you would have the eye issues of a middle-aged human. When I have seen lights come for people’s faces or anything else visually odd, there was typically a sense of joy, peace or euphoria included. For me with the floaters and this year, the flashing zig zags and spots of color, I felt confusion and fear. Based on this plus comments of others about ocular migraines, I am inclined to consider this aging and more stress than usual. I could be incorrect and will keep my mind open, but I do occasionally suffer from regular migraine headaches. and my eyes tire out faster lately with more time spent on screens.
There are times when an experience is jarring and strange but not transcendant.

Thanks for sharing. I can imagine that this feels irritating and disturbing.
I get some tiny and short lived flashes of white light on my retina. This has started after I asked for some more tangible sign to distinguish the thoughts of guidance in my head from my imaginatiom or ego.

And I also read in the book Medical Medium by Anthony William that he experiences a very strong light in his field of vision.
So, this can be linked to the spiritual path. But I do not know, of course, where it comes from in your case.
I hope you find a way to deal with it or make sense of it.

It is so fascinating how your guides directly address your questions. My eyes are so so precious to my time on Earth and I try not to fear they are losing their abilities. But I have been assured my eyes are healthy now and these are just symptoms of a non-serious condition.

actually, my partner has been experiencing much of the same you described and he also had no answers except for the ocular migraines. he’s had it for several years but increased recently. reading your share was exactly a lot of what he’s shared with me in experiencing. he has a checkup because recently had a retinal detachment and just checking on its healing, so he’ll see if anything new pops up in info about the other experiences like you’ve shared that he had years before that happened. it seems to come more when stressed or using the eyes a lot, and also facing big life choices.

I’ve had ocular migraines. For me they are caused by hormone fluctuations and stress. Mine sometimes come with a headache that is not a migraine in intensity (I get regular migraines too), more of a sinus headache that goes down my neck. Sometimes I see colored blobs, but mostly my vision becomes doubled and tripled with huge white areas that make it impossible to look directly at something and focused. Once, when this kind of migraine got really bad, it also affected my speech and gobbledygook came out of my mouth instead of words. At that point in time it was birth control that was the culprit, however, I’ve always tended toward migraines with auras. My first one was in high school before a Biology final (stress induced).
I would not say, for me at least, that these types of migraines are ascension related. I hope you are able to resolve your sight issues as I know how scary and unsettling it must be. ❤

Thanks Dayna for validating my experiences. Since I know you have so many mystical openings that I do not share, it is rather clear to me that my vision “farts” are 3D in nature. I am so glad I decided to write about this so now I have a few examples of similar symptoms from others. I do not think hormones are at play for me, but stress definitely is in play. Sorry to hear you have this issue but relieved to know I am not alone. That speech symptom you described seems terrifying. I would seek medical help if that happens again.

As sovereign magnificent beings the choice is always each persons to pursue and is what brings us to our destination. I must add though that I’m missing you mention following your intuition, your heart or gut instinct as this is when each comes closer to melding with our spirit, divine self❤️ who, if the human allies will take us beyond the mind and 3D reality. Thanks Barbara for your appreciation of my humor. I have not mentioned any gut responses because I do not have a strong pull about this phenomenon. Yet, as some more comments have come in, I am leaning towards this being just another stress-related odd health issue to add to my list. If I could enjoy the ride without worrying about it happening while driving or working and know it is not linked to a serious health problem, I may relish in the visual wonders. The colors were kind of cool but the disco lights were irritating and frightening.

I beg there is a mystical component, Linda. You are very sensitive to colour – you write a lot about colours – and perhaps this is just the next natural step. I’m no expert of course but that’s what intuition tells me.

I do love color and am acutely aware of its presence. But I am inclined to think this is some medical glitch triggered by stress. And yet, I believe there is a spiritual component to many of life’s movements and my ability to see and “envision” is very important to me. So the fear of losing it is yanking my chain. So I think both forces are at work Monika.
