This may seem like odd timing, but I have been preoccupied. Plus the idea just came to me today. I have dreamed of going to NORWAC for many years. I wanted to mix two of my loves which are Astrology and the Pacific Northwest. Now here’s the funny thing about this ; I live astrology but have never ever visited this part of the country! I have been drawn to this area for decades and it is mostly about the pictures I have seen that are so enchanting. The space needle is so amazing in Seattle and then there are the forests, mountains and fresh air. It all seems so pure and spacious. Salmon, coffee, progressive community, ahh…
So this year I signed up for one day of virtual NORWAC and I am so excited. Online is much cheaper and more convenient than air travel and a hotel. Now, I still want to visit Washington and Oregon one day. My relocation natal chart for this region is a dream come true, such a great line up! I attract people from the region all the time without effort. I meet people who live there now or people in Philly that lived there before ( and loved it) and occasionally people I meet here who later move there. There are blogger buddies from the region , including one who will be presenting, our own super talented Gray Crawford. He will be speaking tomorrow. There are many excellent astrologers such as Demetra George, Jason Holley, Melanie Reinhart, Kelly Surtees, and more. My mind just drifted to Baltimore for a moment, wishing I could go back to pre pandemic days when life was complicated yet not dystopian. Anyway, I will report back to share my impressions of my day in Seattle. I will be sipping virtual Seattle coffee and feasting on virtual West coast seafood, somehow making it all come together.
I realize it may be too late to register, but then again maybe not, since it is virtual and doesn’t start until around noonish Pacific time. Check out the link below if you are curious to learn more. Blessings from the Atlantic Northeast!
So many opportunities to participate in new ways with virtual interfaces. I hope you enjoyed it, Linda! The thing you lose is mingling with people in the coffee line I guess, or meeting people in the hallway. That will be the next step for virtual meetings I think, some sort of faces in the crowd floating past and you click one to introduce yourself. That would be kind of neat wouldn’t it? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it and that you’re able to get out to the Northwest at some point.

Yes Michael I did enjoy it, but much is lost in translation. As I blogged about in my trip to Baltimore NCGR in 2019, the spontaneity in “chance meetings” and the connections that develop as a result, where what set the experience apart. Yet, I did get a feel of the energy from the leaders of the conference and some of the people I “met” virtually. I really hope to get to Washington and/or Oregon because my soul has been asking for years!
