I just found out that January 2nd is National Introvert Day. While I consistently score in the middle of the introvert/extrovert continuum, I own my introversion tendencies. I notice them the most while in the company of extroverts or when I get home after a overstimulating day among people.
Here is a fabulous article on INFJs that I reblogged back in 2013. It was one of the most popular posts for that year.
Are you an introvert or extrovert?
How does this quality reveal itself to you?
I have read many articles about the INFJ profile and this is by far the most comprehensive. More importantly, it is incredibly accurate. Thank you to Marina of Her Locket for this great ” love letter” to INFJs and those who live in the land of possibility and metaphor. Since the copy and reblog functions are not working ( early Merc Retro madness?). please click on the link above to read the article.
Reblogged this on litebeing chronicles and commented:
Happy 2017 and Happy Introvert Day! I hope to post some new stuff soon/ Please enjoy this re-tread about INFJS.
PEACE, Linda

To be honest Linda.. I do not see myself other than ME.. I think it may be up to others to judge what I am.. I just enjoy being me.. and I guess we are made up of both, all of us at various times in our lives given various situations have been both.. π xxx and Yes I enjoyed the long well thought out read.. π

Hmmm, we get our own ‘day’, eh? Pretty funny. But that it’d be in early January, Winter in the Northern Hemi, seems appropriate. Enjoy those hermit times and inclinations. π xoxo

Maybe it is good PR for us inconspicuous peeps.

Wow, what a long and insightful article! Thanks for sharing.
I have heard that the internet is the place where extroverted introverts meet. Real extroverts meet at the pub. The introverts meet nowhere. And extroverted introverts meet online.

I am INTJ but I am borderline introvert. If this is introvert day it is living up to its name on my end. Hermit mode here. π

I would have thought you were more feeling than thought, but hey, maybe my intuition is off, hehe. I guess maybe the full out introverts are not blogging. ??? I do love being hermit though. π

Oh no I am way over logical. Now I’m better at listening to my heart than I was but still have a long way to go.
