Share My World ~ 2016 Edition

Here are my responses to this week’s Share Your World Challenge over at Cee’s Photography. Her challenges are tons of fun, but then there’s her flowers, WOW! Please check out her wonderful blog and you’ll see that Cee is all that!

This is a great crop of questions, so let’s dig in, shall we?

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets?

Why yes, I do. There was a time where it seemed unlikely to me. But after being exposed to Steven Spielberg, any doubts began to fade. The film Contact, which was inspired by Carl Sagan”s novel, sealed the deal. I have not had any encounters, except perhaps with myself. A psychic long ago did some past life work for me and stumbled upon something that surprised her. ” Your origins are not from this planet.”, she said.  At that time I was horrified, already feeling like such an outsider. But is any form of consciousness tethered to a planet anyway?

How many places have you lived? You can share the number of physical residences and/or the number of cities.

I have lived in four states. Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York and then I landed in Queens for a few years. Then I spent 3rd grade though 5th grade in Reading ( near Harrisburg) PA.  The end of 5th grade and most of 6th grade was spent in New Britain ( near Hartford) Connecticut. I remained in Cherry Hill, New Jersey from the end of 6th grade through high school. I moved to Phila, PA to attend college and never looked back. There have been several moves within Philadelphia but I have stayed in the NW section close to the Montgomery County border for almost 30 years. I moved to this neighborhood during my Saturn Return. That was the highlight of that transit for me. I often wondered why it was so meh. I figured it was because Saturn rules my 12th house of  ~ what is hidden, unconscious. Recently I took a fresh look and noticed that transiting Neptune was conjunct Saturn. So my transition to adulthood was  covered in fog. Aha, this makes sense!

I did not like living in either New York or Cherry Hill. I preferred Reading with its rolling hills, awesome Mt. Penn., and friendly people. I also enjoyed the woods of Connecticut and the allure that New England held for me. Returning to Pennsylvania truly felt like coming home.

If you given $22 million tax-free dollars (any currency), what is the first thing you would do?

Impulsively I decided to play last week’s Powerball lottery. I fantasized about how to spend $1.5 Billion dollars. I quickly realized I do not want all that money. I then considered how to spend about $ 2 million. The first thing I would do is get a new car. Maybe something energy-efficient and cute like this:

But in a different color, maybe something metallic. I did not win any money, but I stumbled upon a semi-premonition. Once I made the choice to play, I thought about where to buy my tickets. I was persuaded internally to go to a Wawa. I felt very good about this location. All 3 winning tickets in Pennsylvania were purchased at , you guessed it, Wawa. Now all I need is the winning numbers and I’m all set.

The Never List: What are things you’ve never done? Or things you know you never will do?

A short list:

Skydiving

Bungee jumping

Olympic try – outs

Hunting

Becoming a Reality TV star * ( see item below)

Get plastic surgery * ( see item above)

*Plastic surgery and Reality TV probably go together.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful that I have 3 old David Bowie albums and my original turntable to play them on. I am also grateful that my new favorite miniseries Wayward Pines is returning this summer. I am grateful to have some repeat astrology clients to read for the next few weeks. I am also grateful that my local astrology group is under new management and has planned some exciting activities and amazing lecturers. I plan to attend their first meeting of 2016 tomorrow.

It is exciting when I see how my psychic abilities manifest. This gives me hope that I can create gold out of lead, metaphorically speaking. I had given up on Wayward Pines and just discovered yesterday that the announcement was made 1 month ago. This is quite puzzling. I google Wayward Pines frequently to check its status. How could I have missed this?  But I digress..

It is never too late to expand our awareness and re-calibrate our ideas. Something odd is beeping as I type these last few words. I guess it is a sign that Source is in agreement.

UPDATE ( about 15 minutes later) The beeping may have been an ET telling me to check my mail. Guess what I just found outside my door? My new Matt Kahn book.

Something else to feel grateful for.
