Life requires courage, only the bold can continue to breathe in and breathe out. Existence on planet Earth, not for the faint of heart. Walking the path is the hero’s journey only. Cowards need not apply here. Fear is never far away, only a nuanced, inkling separates the being from the trap of despair.

Nature has its own secrets, only for the properly initiated. The rest of us counts the seconds, minutes, hours, between the first squeal and the final gasp. Linear time is a game that is tempting at first glance. And yet, the only way out is to quit playing.

The ocean is no joke. Either you learn to ride the waves or the waves ride you. Power is the ability to influence and Gaia’s a powerful mistress. Obey the silent cry within, never stray far from your truth, your core. Otherwise you may find your essence scattered into the center of a salt crystal, where no-thing can hear you cry.

How can you tell the direction of the fates? The sky can fool the best of them with its wily ways. Clouds are shape-shifters and the sun can play hide and seek like a crack-addicted rabbit with ADHD. If you don’t believe this, go follow Uranus on a cantankerous Leo day and report back with all the details.

What can a simple soul do when she feels the breeze but her heart no longer feels the relief it delivers? Is there solace to discover? Are the winds of change a blessing or a flukey hoax? Where does the joy go when no one can dance with her in an instant? Does she linger in the shadows, waiting for time and space to dissolve? Perhaps joy’s promise can raise the shadows to meet the heart on its own terms.

  3. I’m reading backwards catching up after returning from holiday… You write with strength and courage as you beautifully describe your darkness… drinking deeply our fears and struggles that show up to be released. Remember we are the IAM Presence, loving ourself unconditionately as the body/mind goes through its experience… no judgement, only love allows the release of old programmes and prepares to bring in your heart and soul desire. (Keep your wishes in your vision… and know it’ll come to pass) much love beautiful writer x barbara x

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for sharing the lovely paintings. I enjoyed them all.

Sounds like you’re still in a difficult place. It’s so tough when our perceptions and feelings and even our sensory impressions affirm the fact that we are walking uphill, into the wind. I can tell you that you never cry alone, and that peace is possible under any sign. But I know sometimes words seem pretty hollow, too. Underneath it all, in a certain and sure-footed space, your heart is safe. And that is where you ultimately are.

May your heart rest with the Friend within. Thinking of you…
    Peace
    Michael

  7. You feel as if you are within a place I was at the beginning of the year.. What is a woman to do, but keep breathing deeper.. Following your creative streak, I know your courage is strong.. And I hope as the Luna eclipses take place they align you more with your purpose..
Sending LOVE and Blessings your way Linda.. and hope you got my last email.. xxx ❤ Hugs Sue xx

      Hi Sue,
Yes, I am still breathing and sometimes focusing on the breathe can be soothing. The eclipse season plus some nasty transits ( I will spare you the astro details) are really testing me to the limits of my patience and nerves. I am quite strong and have been through worse, but at some point I have to wonder what purpose does suffering actually have? Maybe it will all fall into place at some TBD time. Meanwhile I take things one day at a time, or shorter intervals.

      hugs, Linda

    Hey Linda,

A very brief line to say: you seem to have an admiration for impressionistic art, and French painters and art. Why not take a cheap vacation and visit Le Bois d’amour (Brittany, France) and venture through the glade in the final painting…there looks to be bright sunshine at the end of it 🙂

‘What can a simple soul do when she feels the breeze but her heart no longer feels the relief it delivers?’ – Roll the dice Linda and see where fate takes you?

Hoping you are well in all ways and in all ways are well.

    Namaste 🙂

      Hi Dewin,

You are truly quite observant and I appreciate this quality in you. I do enjoy this genre along with some others, like Frida Kahlo and Georgia O Keefe. I did a past life regression where I got an image of painting in a mansion or castle in France perhaps in the 1800s or 1700s. It is possible, but not certain. I would relish a trip to France and hope one day my finances will make that a reality.

What do you mean roll the dice? You mention this phrase quite often, A book reference?

      namaste,
      Linda

      1. Dewin Nefol says:

        Hey Linda,

To control fire one must first be able to identify the elements combining to produce flame: Fuel, Air, Heat. Removal of one or more of these components will collapse the flame. The same logic can be applied equally to most prevalent malaises…removal of one element will break the interconnection of other components. In the case of fire introduction of another element may affect/change the form of the other three eg: water will temper flame, rot fuel, and/or exclude air. With malaises a dice might present 6 new possibilities thus far not introduced within a closed cycle of habitual interdependency.

I think you would enjoy reading the following book, and I also think you’ll find it inspiring. I have mentioned it twice previously, this inclusion is the third and final roll of the dice as a suggestion:

Thank you for comments on my observational skills.

Anyhoo, I must fly, I don’t want to out-stay my welcome nor overindulge in your kind hospitality. So I will take my leave and wish you an enjoyable Sunday. Take care.

        Namaste 🙂
