Howdy to all WordPress affiliates: Readers, bloggers, and followers. It is a no brainer as to what I will reblog today, my Thanksgiving poetry post from 2013. I do this yearly along with my ode to Scorpio post.

It is ironic that my poem is about gratitude since I have been feeling so upset since I learned about Sindy. Today did not go well either and I am very close to having a pity party. I could reveal the reasons behind my loneliness, resentment, and disappointments but it is not necessary. I know that I have a purpose to be here or I would cease to be here. I do have plenty to be grateful for but it is sad that this once joyous Holiday is now anything but. I will allow myself to acknowledge my pain and then move on. I know that when I wrote the Gratitude Poem that it was an attempt to cheer myself up. I realize I am not the only one feeling sadness at this time. I hope I can still spread love despite my momentary emotional fluctuations. I strive to be a better person and part of life is not always getting your way.

I recognize that I am a result of all my choices. I choose to fulfill my destiny and part of that is being an authentic creative spirit. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, I wish you a joyous New Sag Moon! with Jupiter moving direct, I pray that will signal good fortune, health, peace of mind, and love for all.
