Fun Fact: Just before the beginning of writing this post a Stones Video popped up in my YouTube feed with Mick Jagger wearing a Brazil t-shirt. The Universe has truly had my back the past few months. The synchs just keep manifesting.
I recently read Journey of Souls by Michael Newton. It features past life and between life regression stories that are accessed through hypnosis. The book was just okay. I have read a few of this genre and I did not care for his style. However one topic was rather intriguing. Towards the end of the book the author focuses on how souls receive training in between incarnations on how to find their soul family members in their next life. I do not think I have read about this anywhere else. It got me thinking more about my process. While I cannot prove it now, I believe I have spotted past life lovers or soul family appearing as present life lovers with respectable accuracy. Astrology does help in validation of accuracy after you meet the person and have established a relationship.
Today I will share some of the ways I have figured this out. I have no recall of my between life existence so I do not know if I participated in memorization of clues. What I do know is that synastry and composite charts seem to indicate I am onto something. I will not be getting into the charts in this article. My focus in the signs or triggers that have been helpful to me in this pursuit.
Location
There are some places on this planet that move me emotionally. I will see a commercial, film, video, or some image that stops me in my tracks. Other times it might be certain cuisines, visual arts. music, or experience unique to a location that will evoke a string reaction in me.
Some of these locations include the ruins in Italy, Mexico, Peru, and Cambodia. The countries of Brazil , India, Thailand, Morocco, The Netherlands, France, Spain, and Australia. In the US I am drawn to the Mid Atlantic ( Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia ) the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest. Some of these places are more compelling than others or their importance shifts over time. Some I have visited and some I have not in this lifetime. Astrocartography maps out locations that resonate strongly with particular sections of one’s natal chart. It turns out that parts of Brazil look quite good for me. The first time I saw Rio De Janeiro my heart almost stopped. Copacabana beach along with the Christ Statue created an overwhelming sense of awe. This has been my experience for decades.
I will use Brazil as my first clue. My interest in Brazil is long standing. When I first met Joel he had just returned from living in Brazil. A day or so later he appeared in a Brazil t shirt. It was spelled Brasil. I think it was white with blue lettering. Why do I recall these details? It took about 20 minutes being with Joel for me to feel into his energy. I knew him. At this point in my life recognizing souls was not new for me. Yet every time it happens I still feel shocked. The t-shirt just brought it all home. So imagine my shock to see Maurice doing a lecture on Neptune wearing a Yellow and White Brasil t-shirt. The video says it was recorded 5 years ago but he looks like he is in his 20s. I do not know his age on the video but he looks close to Joel’s age when we first met.
With both of them the shirts serve more as confirmation than a clue for recognition. I have no idea if I have lived in Brazil but I suspect I have, It does not mean I lived there with either one of them. For all I know they are connected to each other. Considering all they have in common, it really does track.
Physical Appearance
I used to think I have a type but if so, it seems to morph. The younger version of me would have said tall, wiry, and with long hair. Later it would be a beard or goatee and soulful eyes. I prefer tall but have loved short men. With Leo descendant it is all about the hair except when it does not matter. I appreciate a killer smile and great cheekbones. Maybe that’s why the Caps and Cap risings materialize at times. Ethnically and racially I am quite open. While I have not dated a 100 percent Asian or Hispanic person I did date two men who were half black and half Japanese. I have dated older and younger and occasionally folks my age. Blonde, brunette, glasses, no glasses. Do I have a type?
What I do know is that when I find someone very handsome and magnetic, I often become rather curious. Once I reached a certain level of maturity, appearance without substance was not enough. With Herman in particular his appearance was so ” on brand ” for me. I had not met anyone before with his sense of style. His wardrobe was mostly black, maroon, and grey. He looked like a Scorpio and dressed like one but is a Pisces sun. One planet in one sign though, does not a chart make. I think meeting him was the first time I understood destined attraction. I recall telling him one day at lunch that if did not look like him I would not walked up to him and he looked this way so that I would be drawn in. That was a bold statement but at that point i was reading about soulmates and pre destined love. I wanted to understand why I was willing to color outside the lines in such a radical way. Herman has those glorious fish eyes and chiseled features often found in those with Indigenous lineage. BTW Happy Indigenous people day! With Original or Classic Rick lol, he was so handsome that I could not look away. Fortunately he had a brain and shared interests. At that point I knew he was born that way so I would be triggered.
Synchronicities / Birthdays
With my college boyfriend Dave, there were a few synchs. His time in India and the Pacific Northwest, we attended the same college but met at work. he was strongly a seeker and enjoyed astrology, dreamwork, meditation. etc I will not share his birthday but it sits on my South Node. I have had four people in my life with the same birthday from high school through present day. Rick is called Birthday Boy because we share a birthday. He also lived in Seattle. He has compelling eyes and such a grace when he walked. Joel is very tall and had long blonde hair, a wiry body and soulful blue eyes. Of course the Brazil and India situations. Maurice may be an outlier because his appearance at his age now is not an advantage. Sorry dude but I am not feeling charitable this evening. However his eyes are soulful, his smile is magnetic and his younger version in pictures was quite adorable. The birthday is just 1 day before mine, symbolizing the last degree of my 12th house. The synchs are ridiculous in scope. I guess the Universe wanted to be certain that we would get the hint. If I really took stock of all of our similarities, my brain might explode.
Summary
These clues do not just happen with significant men. I find them with bloggers and other platonic friends, clients, coworkers, and occasionally neighbors. Many colleagues, bosses, and clients share birthdays with my parents or my uncle or my aunt, for example. Others have partially Indigenous roots including my former writing partner and friend who grew up in Kentucky and is white. This is not an exhaustive list but features the highlights. Astrological knowledge really helps with this process but is not essential. Spirit knows me well so I will be sent men I find really attractive or with birthdays that I cannot resist. I hate to admit it but I am a simple girl at heart! They say the eyes are the windows of the soul and perhaps the eyes are crucial. Yet it is useful to have other clues in case the eyes don’t activate the signal. You might want to take stock and see what clues helped you find soul family. It can be quite the adventure.
