The past few days have been so interesting. I have noticed over the past couple months or so that I am inundated with “downloads” of sorts for about 3 days after each Ancestral Healing session. While I would like the flow to extend a bit longer, it is fascinating to observe this trend. The data I receive is always unexpected, which  adds fun and whimsy to the mix.

This past cycle there were two events that are blog-worthy. The first was the rescue of my astrological chart data from a file that was irretrievable. After I switched computers and had no way to use a floppy disk, I lost access to over a thousand charts. These charts were collected from the late 1990s through 2007. I saved important dates in my life along with friends, family, and clients. I kept this file on USB for safe keeping but had given up on the ability to salvage its contents. By upgrading my software and then applying patience and perseverance, I was able to resurrect close to 10 years of memories.

I came across memories long forgotten and names of people I no longer recognize. But there were relocation charts to exotic places and charts for loved ones from my past. It is like a part that split off from me was returned! I am taking it slow, savoring a few charts a day. What a sweet reward! I feel extremely grateful to be able to acquire something I had long given up on.

Shortly thereafter I looked at my secondary progressions. I realized that by using my place of birth as  a reference point that my progressed Ascendant will be moving from Taurus to Gemini in November, just in time for my birthday! It was almost exactly 20 years ago ( November 2001) that my progressed ascendant moved from Aries to Taurus. The fall of 2001 was a chaotic and tragic time but it also was a time of joy. I kept meeting Scorpios everywhere, including a few with my birthday. The Descendant was activated big time.

I usually do not take note of change when my Ascendant moves but the last one was quite pronounced. I did see many changes as my Sun moved into Sagittarius and later to Capricorn. It will be exciting if this shift brings some new Jupiterian people into my orbit. I also wonder if my writing may become more visible as the mercurial energies are amped up. Progressions are different from transits in that they are not temporary. The best way to describe this process is to imagine one’s accumulation of attributes and flavors from all subsequent incarnations. One does not replace one set of placements for another; rather a gradual movement adds new layers and textures to one’s life that are mixed in with all that has come before. Outside of linear time, it is more complicated, but perhaps it can be viewed as multiple, parallel traits and behaviors being available for expression.

From my current perspective I see that the uncovering of some older ancestors is related to resurrecting my old charts file. The information is eternal but not always within reach. These recent “downloads” remind me that no-thing is ever lost and that patience really works. I know that patience is not one of my strengths but I do see some progress here. along with some shiny new progressions!

Any Gemini risings in the house? Let me know what I might expect come November in the comments section.
