2020 was a Metal Rat year, just like the year I was born. I relish the rituals that take place every four years, namely the Presidential elections and the Summer Olympics. Like most events in 2020, the Tokyo games were postponed until today. If only the Metal Rat year could also have been rescheduled, but I digress.
I really am a fixed personality with a Scorpio Sun, Aquarius Ascendant and a Leo chart ruler. I like what I like and I like order. In a perfect world, I would have more of that in my experience. However, life has taught me to be more resilient in the face of constant change. Having said that, I am very excited for today’s opening ceremony. It already happened, but it will be telecast this evening here on the US East Coast. I love gymnastics, track, swimming, and archery ( Venus in Sag, Sag MC, and 9th house stellium.) I also enjoy the ceremony and majesty, along with the international angle. And of course there is Simone Biles who was a huge winner in 2016. Remember 2016 anyone? I sure don’t.
While the 2021 Games will not have spectators and some athletes tested positive for COVID, there is still so much to be grateful for. Inspiration, excellence, artistry, setting goals with intention, and the gathering of souls from all over the globe. Have a glorious Leo Sun weekend and Aquarius Full Moon ~ such a fitting time for the games to take place!
