This is the second installment of my series on reincarnation. Today we are exploring the topic of witchcraft and the occult. My interest in reviving this series is my recent infusion of energy in my being. I have been considering possible astrological transits that might be orchestrating this shift. One may be the quite recent move on my progressed Ascendant to 5 degrees Gemini. This is significant because my Progressed 1st house angle is now conjunct my IC ( 4th house angle ). So my outward persona is “embodying ” my soul. This just happened a few weeks ago, maybe 2 months. Another possibility is transiting Uranus, my chart ruler is moving quickly towards my IC. This is coming up in early August, My soul, roots, family, emotional foundation, etc are being rocked. This is clearly a time when life will be “rocking my world. ”
This notion that I have been a witch is not new for me. I became fascinated with the occult as a child. Growing up in the 1960s offered many opportunities. Kids played with the 8 Ball and the Ouija Board. I am cautioning you to avoid the Ouija Board. I do not think it is a good idea. Pop astrology was everywhere. but I have already covered that several times over.
Physical manifestations later led me to wonder if I have either drowned or been hung ( or both ). I have never ever tolerated anything too tight on my neck and found this somewhat strange. Later I developed a benign goiter on my neck. One cannot ignore somatic signs of trouble. Lastly I have had dreams of being hung. While none of these examples prove anything, there is definitely a curiosity about this matter.
Some people consider Astrology to be taboo and anti religion. Yet many houses of worship are decorated with zodiac symbols. Sometimes I questioned my obsession with psychics. During adolescence my dream life explored as did telepathy and psychic abilities. This process did impact my mental health as it was overwhelming and made me feel “different ” from my peer group and family.

At this point I do believe I rattled some cages in other timelines. I certainly do in this one! Men I have known have often been intrigued by my sense of mystery and magic. Films like The Witches of Eastwick and Practical Magic were influential. Musicians like Stevie Nicks and films like Rocky Horror enchanted me and still do. Being born in the Sign of Scorpio certainly was also an influence. I never really liked Halloween ( except the candy ). Graveyards, again, not a fan. But seeking the truth about death has been a longtime journey. Still seeking and getting a bit closer…..
My relationship with the occult is nuanced. While I do read cards I am careful about how I practice and what decks I use. I am more selective about receiving readings as I worry I have not always been discerning. I do not want to be manipulated nor I do want to give any of my power away. I see myself now more of a pagan/ animist than an actual Wiccan or Witch. If a witch is just another word for Medicine Woman or Indigenous Healer, I will have to get back to you. I am still figuring this out. Women do hold magic but I do not think this is exclusively. For one, genders can be fluid. Secondly, men have feminity within and many men are magical.
Let’s end with a few videos because we can!
Finally, here’s one for the men. Trust me, there are many guys who possess magick. It is truly our birthright as sentient beings in housed in bodies.
