I think this is a great time to talk and practice peace. I am beyond tired of more war and conflict, death and destruction. To what end?
This random post that popped up today in the random post generator includes a Quaker saying about Peace that gets right to the heart. It suggests that we embody peace in order to find peace.
How do you get there? Please share in the comments.
Namaste,
Linda
Today marks the birthday of Georgia O’ Keefe. She is another 11 -6/8 personality as her birthday was 11-15 and mine is 11-6. The 11/6 signature can be defined as mastery plus love transmutes into spiritual influence. What we also share is a love of art, nature, the Southwest, and freedom of expression. If you can get to Santa Fe to visit her museum, please do.
Until then, here’s a small sampling of her work :
Our planet is in dire need of healing. We may not agree on the methods.
One way I heal is by immersing myself in beauty.
Will you share what works for you?. I am interested in spreading the wealth.
There is no way to peace. Peace IS the way.

For me it often starts with having to mindfully bring myself back and back to remembering my intention is always peace. I think perhaps the biggest factor in being able to stay pretty calm and hold a space for me was the years of emotional/issue process work, clearing and clearing and clearing old stuff. But possibly equal in importance is 36 years of yoga and meditation and pranayama — the regular practices that bring me continually back to balance and calm and have led to holding equanimity as my natural state.

Thanks Leigh for sharing your practices here. If I was more disciplined perhaps I would enjoy more success. My Reiki has helped but meditation for me has always been sporadic.

Loving the synchronous “peace” theme we are both tuning into. I’m in total agreement about embodying peace to support and create more of it in the outer world. ❤ love and warmest hugs to you dear Linda

Hey Tania.
I will admit I read your post before publishing mine and found it inspiring. Yet that doesn’t account for the post randomizer landing on this particular blog! The message at the end is why I chose to reblog it now. I have been thinking about the region engaged in war and I have been triggered. And yet I know I can best serve by finding my peace and loving myself. Thanks for sharing here and being such a brilliant light.
Love ❤
Linda
