I ‘ll be honest with you guys. Posting reblogs at this pace is quite a task. I am glad I am doing this but I totally get why I never considered it before. I usually will host a blog challenge in November as some of you may recall. I hope to so one in 2023 so stay tuned..
Anywho, I have been reflecting on the past week on so. My birthday is very close to Samhain at 15 Scorp, a cross quarter day. Cross quarter days occur four times a year at the middle of the fixed signs. My chart is a master class on fixed signs near the middle. With a 16 degree Aquarius ascendant, 16 degree Leo Descendant, 14 degree Scorpio Sun and 16 degree Scorpio Mercury, my life is intense. But I already knew that! This recent lunar eclipse was at !6 degrees Scorpio and it has been a whopper. For the country, it fell on Election Day. For myself it highlights my Mercury and Ascendant with the Sun very closely aspected. So what does Mercury signify? Work, cars, the mind, communication, electronics, the ruler of my moon, blogging, siblings, phones, internet, writing, books, humor, speech, local happenings, just to name a few.
During this cycle I was in a car accident, interviewed for jobs and got a job offer, have experienced very difficult communications with people, especially over the phone, and have been blogging almost daily. With Mars retrograde in Gemini ( the planet ruled by Mercury) there can be delays, misunderstandings, conflicts, and emotional eruptions. I have felt incredibly ungrounded and overwhelmed, yet also exhilarated and energized. Fried and frenetic also come to mind. Well at least Mercury is no longer retrograde right? Astrology works and although there are times I wish it didn’t, it still does. It does not cause events, but symbolically transmit energies that manifest according to the relationship between one’s frequency and the Divine. That’s my take for now. Like everything else, it is open to reinterpretation
Today’s reblog is from 11/13/21 and it features fall splendor, photography galore, and an example of the vivid intensity of these liminal Scorpionic days. I had a dream last night featuring my college room mate. She was sitting next to me and looked as she did forty years ago. I had a very clear conversation with her and remarked that we had not seen each other in about forty years. Why she showed up is odd since she has not been on my mind. But as fate would have it, she is a Gemini, the zodiac sign ruled by Mercury!
