Hello litebeings!
I don’t know about you, but I have been feeling very lethargic the past few days. It could be the extreme heat or something more. But in the car on my way to pick up shrimp and crab fried rice, Could You Be Loved? immediately came on the radio. I knew right then what I would be posting on today. The teachings of Matt Kahn are intensely percolating in the coffee pot of my consciousness. It is time to pour a cup for me and you to sip and savor. Be warned, it may taste mellow, but this blend has quite a kick!
Matt has coined the name Love Revolution and I am processing how to apply this ideal to my life. While he seems to negate the teachings of ACIM and Eckhart Tolle, I will love him anyway. For one thing, I do not see any disconnect between these messages of love and presence and his own, and he says to love whatever arises. I think the reason I am strongly resonating with Matt is his ability to communicate and model his teachings. He keeps it interesting and fresh and has a personality that I find engaging. He is more dynamic than many on the scene today and he seems to be really authentic.
He speaks of enlightenment and how it is not a goal, but the beginning. This reminds of the old zen saying Before enlightenment chop wood, carry water, after enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. Matt raises discussion of the end game. I never expected to become fully enlightened. I hoped for more mystical openings, but I also hoped for freedom and security. For me that means the freedom to pursue travel, new people, adventure… Security means peace of mind and complete grounding within my being. I did not expect complete realization or ascension while in this body. This 5D idea is really new to me. I was content with having a window into the true nature of existence and finding more ways for me to heal myself and the world. He and many like him really raise the stakes of this game.
I would recommend this series to those new to Matt Kahn and his philosophy of love. He emphatically insists that shadow work and constant clearing are over, very old-school. He practices loving all of creation as you interact with yourself, other people, and all other manifestations of existence. I have to take an extraordinary big picture perspective to see how this idea complements the purpose of form and creation. It is almost too big for me and I am a big picture person!
Check it out and please report back: the pleiadian prophecy
I must end this blog on a lighter note. This material is not for those on their first rodeo, at least I don’t think so. In any event, I really hope that these videos I mention generate a lively discussion. While I am aware that whatever I learned in the past is not relevant now, I sometimes long for the days when my circle and I would watch videos and have parties filled with music. These were the days pre-internet when a gathering meant everyone in the same place. On one such occasion, this song was playing loudly and the energy was pulsating with love and promise.
Enjoy:
Interesting and powerful! and Happy Valentines Day sweet one.

Hi Linda, thanks for sharing this and introducing Matt Kahn.
I haven’t watched all the videos (yet). I think his message is not in contrast to Eckhart Tolle or ACIM. It all comes down to presence/forgiveness/peace/blessing/love even if the circumstances of life seem less than desirable.
I like his message that it is important to live the understanding in daily life.
I find it interesting to see how many different schools of thought there are. The common denominator is always the same (to choose love even if life sucks). But the packaging is different so that it is palatable for the respective target group.
That is a topic which tickles me since some time already, so maybe I should write about it.
To compare the various approaches and tastes of lightworkers, Buddhists, Christians, Advaita folks, ACIM students and so on.
For some, one should mention Atlantis in order to establish rapport. But other groups will be pissed off, if one mentions Atlantis.
Christians tend to accept only Bible quotes.
ACIM students think that ACIM is the non plus ultra of wisdom and the best spiritual path ever (and then they play the quoting contest game). So think strictly Advaita folks about their approach.
Oh, and then there is a ton of other philosophical schools of thought ( -isms) around which I have never heard of before I entered the blogosphere here at wordpress.
Whenever I think about these different schools of thought and how they can be compared, a quote by Eckhart Tolle comes to my mind : “Comparing pointers is pointless”.
I am glad you found a teacher who resonates with you.
Hugs,
Karin

Hi Karin,
So very glad you took the time and committed your presence to these videos. I learned a very long time ago that the essence of all great teachings across time and space and culture are the same. Those that do not teach love are either misinterpretations or distortions of love. My need(s) for teachers change. I still find so much value in many that I have embraced. Right now I guess I need a video format, humor , life examples, and practical applications. I was not looking for yet another teacher. Yet a few pointed me to Matt and I clearly felt right at home. ( for now)! I would love if you wrote about this topic. Your writing is phenomenal and sparks great discussion 🙂
peaceful hugs without pointers, Linda

I like Matt’s life examples, practical applications, and humor, too.
I find real life examples really important. That is where the rubber hits the road. If I don’t know how to apply this stuff, then it not worth anything.
And you know what was funny yesterday? After I had watched these Matt Kahn videos for several days in row, I saw a car, a mini cooper, with the license plate MA-TT 1111. I thought I have to let you now.
Hugs,
Karin

Hi Karin,
Happy Solstice!
We are so much on the same page about experience! Thank you for sharing about the MATT1111. That was no coincidence. Maybe Matt was giving you a spiritual wink 😉

Maybe it was a wink. Or it was just an example of ‘whatever is going on on the inside, shows up on the outside’. It was funny.
Many thanks for linking to my recent post at the Seeker’s Dungeon.
Peace,
Karin

Hi Sue,
Always a joy to find you here on your treks through WP. Please let me know your reactions to Matt. I listen to him daily now as his voice gives me peace and hope. I am not dependent on him, but need the encouragement to navigate the uncertainty on my path.

Matt Kahn’s philosophy on love is very much in tune with the deeper meaning of the “Love/Fire Initiation”

Hi Bev,
Thanks for commenting. I am hoping to drum up some dialogue here. I am not familiar with the Love Fire initiation. Can you say more and/or provide a good link?

Hi Linda…I wrote a series of articles for my blog on the four main initiations: Fire, Earth, Air and Water a while back. The post on “The Initiations: Fire (The Love Bug) delves into the deeper meaning of love which is to love indiscriminately. The Fire signs (Leo, Sagittarius, Aries) are here to learn the deeper meaning of love in this lifetime however every soul incarnates again and again to go through the various Initiations until each one is mastered. Kahn, I believe, is referring to an advanced soul. It would be difficult to understand the deeper meaning of love or to reach that level of understanding without first experiencing the trials and tribulations of love firsthand through many lifetimes.

thank you Bev . I will check out your posts. Matt is referring to those who are at least partially awakened. ❤

Hi Linda, I can surf with you to this music! 🙂 I’d dive into trying to answering these questions, but I think it’s better left for the experts in 5d. I miss my peeps back home, my women’s circles, meditation groups, and my drum circles. This is PA, mind you! Here in California, it exists, but… Eh. I’m glad we have the bonfire online. Honestly, it seems like everything is somehow relevant. On that note, I like how you tagged, “zen-tangle.” xo Ka
